The Extra Leash

5 foot leash with the collar attached.  Handmade of the same material that a horse lead is made of.  This makes the leash strong, soft and washable with a great hand feel.  Perfect to leave in the car for swimming, or hiking to the trail head.  Also perfect to leave by the front door to get from the house to the car.  Easily fits in your pocket.  The Perfect Extra Leash!

As with any slip leash, never leave your dog unattended while using.

Available in 1/2″ width in black, or 3/8″ in red.  All hardware is brass.

Love this leash. I Dog sit for big dogs and little dogs. This leash works well for all of them. Makes last night out for pee fast and easy. Just slip it over the head. No fighting dog to get a harness on. Or trying to clip on to a collar. I hang it right at the back door, grab it and out we go.

I leave this leash in the truck along with an extra lead line. I used the leash last week. Driving along route 12 in northern MA, saw a small dog running along the highway. He had a coat on, but no collar. The poor little guy was so frightened, he didn't know where to go. I don't know how I would have caught him without this leash. It worked perfectly and the lost dog was safe!

I use my extra leash every morning. We walk in a state park, off leash. When we get to the park, we have about 1/4 of a mile to get to the trail head. This leash is so easy to get on the dog and off the dog from the car to the trail! And, it is easy to carry into the woods. I wrap it around my waist and put the extra into my front pocket. I don't even know it is there, but if I need it, meeting another dog, person or whatever, I have an easy to put on leash. Love it!

We bought this leash, just to have an extra one and we used it the first week we had it! A neighbors dog came visiting our dogs with no collar or harness on. I just slipped the leash over Teddy's head and took him home! I don't know what we would have done if we didn't have the leash. It made returning an escapee easy!

Bought the small red leash for my midsize poodle. Taking that dog outside was getting to be a challenge as I am a small guy and that dog is a handful in the city. As I am an "apartment guy" I needed something portable and quick. The ease of getting Rory in and out of the leash is greatly appreciated and the poop bag holder is easy to use. Why didn't someone think of this before? Kudos North Woods!

I bought the red 3/8" leash for my Newfoundland dog. It is sturdy enough for me to maintain control of all 160 lbs. of him, while still being very lightweight. Easy to slip on and off, this leash is great as an "extra" for the car or for quick trips to the mailbox. I really love that it has a built in loop on the handle to clip plastic bags for poo pickup. Northwoods has thought of everything to make this leash convenient!
